In double acting hydraulic cylinders piston rod is being returned by the fluid pressure, and they are used for manufacturing of bulldozers and lifting or lowering of the shaft.
Telescopic cylinders are widely used in the areas, where large stroke of the piston rod is required and there is no possibility to install for this purpose bigger hydraulic unit. For example, telescopic cylinders are installed at dump tracks to lift and lower body. Besides, they are used to create sliding car platform to control situations with bridges.
