Manufacturing Precision Lightweight Pistons for Motorcycle Shock Absorbers
Precision lightweight pistons for motorcycle shock absorbers, featuring EN AW 6082-T6 aluminum, PTFE sealing, and 20-micron anodized coating.
The technology of sintered parts production is based on bringing metal powders into special shapes. They are thermally treated in gas environment, which allows to increase plasticity of material and also to add special polymers. Then the parts are pressed, rolled and formed. During these processes, parts of the metal powders are strongly melted together, creating a monolithic mass. To give the parts hardness and wear resistance, they are heat treated in special furnaces.

When to machine metal parts produced by pressing in powder metallurgy
Production of the parts from mixed metallic powders is slowly displacing traditional casting and stamping.
How are metal powders performed? How are metal powders produced for industrial application?
Mass production of various products by means of powder metallurgy, performed from metal powder, became actively develop, since…
These sintered parts are the key elements of shock absorbers manufacturing, they determine characteristics of shock absorbers, their lifespan and operational stability. That’s why, in order to meet the requirements of this industry, our powder metallurgy production ensures high precision and stability of sizes and characteristics of sintered parts from batch to batch.
The sintered moulded parts, manufactured by Eurobalt Engineering, have high productivity, heat and wear resistance, high-precision dimensions, and a number of other advantages.
