Components Made of Tungsten Carbide We Manufacture for Drilling and Mining Industry

Tungsten Carbide may be strong, but it can also be pressured into various shapes and sizes. The hard compound is mixed with binding agents and then presses with a high amount of pressure and heat to take the required shape.

Here are a few components we manufacture made of Tungsten Carbide for the drilling and mining equipment.

  • Drill Bits

used on the tips of drill rigs or handheld corded drills

  • Rock Bits

used against abrasive surfaces, especially rocks of all shapes and sizes

  • Button Bits

used as inserts in rollers and large mining equipment used for tunneling

  • Tips

used as abrasive in the machining industry, tips used as an attachment for earthmoving vehicles

  • Auger Head Inserts

used in drilling augers for better performance

  • Rings, Rods, Bushings, and Other Wear Parts

used for the mining and drilling vehicle

  • Nozzles

used for high-pressure spraying and cooling of drill tips

  • Custom Tungsten Carbide Components

  • Parts for Geological Exploration

All the machines in our factories can be calibrated according to your desires and needs. We can manufacture any parts made of Tungsten Carbide, and volume is not an issue either. Any parts used in the drilling and mining industry can be manufactured in house and with great efficiency.

A Look into Our Manufacturing Process and Capabilities of Tungsten Carbide Components for Drilling and Mining Industry (subheading)

When powder Tungsten is heated with Carbon Black between 1400-1600° C, Tungsten Carbide is formed. And turning that Tungsten Carbide into a desired shape takes a mixture of the compound with another powder metal, primarily Cobalt.

The mixture is pressed using high pressure, and he sintering process is used to form the final product. After the shape is given, sintering takes place in a hot furnace of temperature between 1350-1400° C. The cobalt acts as a binding agent and holds the structure together, like cement. This is also the reason why components made of Tungsten Carbide are called cemented carbide.

Our factory has a floor space of 5,000 sq. meter, and all the machines required for the manufacturing of drilling and mining equipment are located on our premises. From Ball Mill Machine to Sintering Furnace and CNC Machines, we have all the technologies to meet your needs.

Our factories are running safely with an expected output of between 80-100 tons of Tungsten Carbide blank parts per year, even in this challenging period. We also manufacture around 35-40 tons of machined parts of high precision requirements per year.

Why Eurobalt® for Your Drilling and Mining Needs?

Whether you need a small bushing for a high-pressure situation or a massive drill for creating a hole through a sturdy surface, we manufacture it all. Our quality assurances are sure to meet your standards, and we pride ourselves on being on time, all the time.

You can rest assured that you will not find a better partner in your endeavor than us when it comes to components made of Tungsten Carbide for the drilling and mining equipment.
